Antonie E. Walker is a proud native of Jacksonville, Florida. He was raised on the northside and graduated in 2002 from the legendary William M. Raines High School. After graduation, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, and later received an honorable discharge.

In 2004, he married his high school sweetheart, Nicole. Their union produced one child, Antonie, II who is married to Iyana, and they produced Antonie and Nicole’s one year old granddaughter, Harley Nicole.

At the age of seven, Antonie preached his first sermon, under the guidance of the late Dr. David A. Lattimore, Jr. at the historic Mt. Ararat Missionary Baptist Church, of Jacksonville, Florida. He licensed at age nine, ordained at age sixteen, and began pastoring at age twenty-three. 

Antonie received his theological training from Emory University’s Candler School of Theology, where he completed the rigorous Course of Study. 

He is a sought-after pulpiteer, because of his contextual preaching and teaching, that offers hearers a clear and concise picture of the biblical text, that educates and encourages life in Jesus Christ.

Antonie has been privileged to lead some of the south’s elite congregations. He is the founding pastor of the Canaan Community Church in Savannah, Georgia which in its peak boasted 1,100 members in two locations. In Macon, Georgia he was the revitalizing pastor of Grace Corner United Methodist Church, which successfully merged with the historic and predominantly Caucasian Riverside United Methodist Church. In the spring of 2023, Antonie was appointed to serve the Toulminville-Warren Street United Methodist Church in Mobile, Alabama who is known for their Civil Rights activism, most notably due to the notoriety of the late Dr. Joseph Lowery.

In 2025, Antonie resigned from his pastorate in Mobile, Alabama, to pursue an opportunity that would allow him to transition from itinerant ministry to a more stable, long-term pastoral assignment. He is currently an associate minister at Franklin Street Missionary Baptist Church, and is sought after for his preaching/teaching prowess.
